In a brief hearing yesterday, Arapahoe County District Attorney George Brauchler announced he’ll seek the death penalty in the case of James Holmes. Holmes allegedly killed 12 people and wounded 70 in an Aurora movie theater last summer. Brauchler said he’d spoken with 800 people -- including victims and their families - to make his decision. In Holmes’ case, he said, “justice is death.” Host Ryan Warner talks about the legal path going forward with Kris Miccio, professor of criminal law at the University of Denver. Miccio is also a former prosecutor, a former defense attorney, and an ordained rabbi.
