The New York duo Beach House will return with a new album, "Depression Cherry," on August 28. It's their first record since 2012's highly-acclaimed "Bloom."
The band has released the album's first single, "Sparks." The song channels the hazy dream-pop of previous Beach House discography but with edgier noise elements.
Jana Hunter of Lower Dens recently described the song as such: "They have a rare talent for making something really new feel familiar. It’s impressive as hell. It’s new for them, but really just new, period."
