The wonderful Caroline Smith paid us a visit last Friday before her headlining performance at the Hi Dive. This marked Smith's second visit to our CPR Performance Studio, the first with indie folk outfit Good Night Sleeps.

Smith and her band have since cast off that moniker and switched up their musical style to an energetic soul and R&B swagger. She spoke with Alisha Sweeney about the decision to leave behind that name, as well as the fun but laborious task of choreographing hand movements with her backup singers for their live shows.

Smith performs four songs off of her latest album "Half About Being a Woman," including the excellent single "Magazine."
