Up until last week, Ricardo Baca was the long-standing music critic of The Denver Post, a job that included a role in co-founding Denver's Underground Music Showcase. He recently made the transition to the newly-created Marijuana Editor position at the Post, and since then he has been in a whirlwind of media attention, including an interview with the New York Times and an appearance on The Colbert Report.

Baca recently made time to chat with morning host Keefer Fulgham about the day-to-day function of his unprecedented position, his efforts in hiring a "pot critic," the legal and social ramifications of legalized marijuana, and his bittersweet departure from music journalism.
