Jack Tatum released "Indigo," his fourth album as Wild Nothing, earlier this year. It finds the Virginia musician returning to the lush synth-pop that defined his early Wild Nothing recordings in his college dorm room. Tatum and his band recorded some of the album at the famous Sunset Sound studio in Los Angeles.

More from OpenAir Sessions:

Wild Nothing stopped into the CPR Performance Studio to play four songs from "Indigo." Tatum also spoke with Jeremy Petersen about mixing the record in Denver, how living in Los Angeles affected his musical trajectory and his love for '80s pop acts.
