When teen pianist Zachary Troyer worked up an arrangement of John Williams’ theme from the original “Jurassic Park” film, he enlisted some friends to help him perform it in front of a big backdrop.
Troyer and four buddies hauled an old piano to a rock outcropping atop Juniper Pass, located south of Idaho Springs with an elevation of 11,140 feet.
There, Troyer played his arrangement while his friend Josh Keefe videotaped the performance and the dizzying views.
“We did this for fun,” Troyer wrote. “It took a while to get the piano up there -- no green screen!”
The resulting video is a uniquely Colorado take on the “Jurassic Park” theme.
