There’s a way to save water that every other western state takes advantage of-- except Colorado.... and that’s using “graywater.” So taking bath tub water and irrigating the lawn. Or using water from your washing machine to flush a toilet. In Colorado, it’s really unclear if such a thing is legal... but a bill has passed the state House to make it so. And the savings could be huge, says Sybil Sharvelle, who directs the Urban Water Center at Colorado State University. She spoke to host Ryan Warner.
