Denver sextet Snake Rattle Rattle Snake has been getting great buzz for a while now. And playing so many live shows, they didn't have time to make a record. Now they've done it, their way. The self-produced, self-recorded "Sineater" debuts this weekend with a CD release party at Denver's Bluebird Theater. The CD is also a first project for the Greater Than Collective. That group is helping with promotion and distribution, and hoping to foster other musicians and artists in Denver's thriving local scene. Snake Rattle's Haley Helmericks and Doug Spencer, and Greater Than's Virgil Dickerson came to Colorado Public Radio for a chat with CPR's MIke Lamp. [Photo: Glenn Ross]
