A locally-owned company is now publishing the Colorado Springs Business Journal. The paper’s first issue under new ownership comes out Friday. It’s now run by the same people who publish the Colorado Springs Independent, an alternative newsweekly. The Independent’s long-time publisher is John Weiss. He says buying the Business Journal from a larger, Minnesota-based company that publishes newspapers around the country will benefit the Pikes Peak area. Weiss spoke wtih CPR's Anna Panoka.
