Study: Colorado Transfer Students Struggle To Graduate

Less than a third of community college students who transferred to one of Colorado’s four-year schools ended up getting their bachelor’s degrees, according to new a study.

Researcher Davis Jenkins with the Community College Research Center at Columbia University told to CPR News’ Mike Lamp about the reasons the move from community college to university can be a difficult transition. Click the audio player above to hear their conversation.
