Hailed as one of the most eclectic alternative bands of the 1980s, ska/punk heroes Fishbone will be playing in Denver tonight! The band is touring the country alongside screenings of their new documentary Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone. It plays tonight at Cervantes’ Other Side.
Our morning show host Alisha chatted with Fishbone bassist Norwood on the phone last week about their documentary and what its like to be followed by a camera crew for three years. Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone is a fun documentary full of high energy music, an animated storyline to tell the band’s past and a whole lot of drama between band members that have been playing music together since they were in junior high over 30 years ago!
Local groups The Dendrites and Bop Skizzum will be opening up for Fishbone. The documentary will also be played. Don’t miss out.
