Sean Tillmann brought his band and alter ego Har Mar Superstar to OpenAir belting out some songs off "Bye Bye 17," his soulful first new album in five years and fifth album to date.
Morning show host Alisha Sweeney asked him about signing to Julian Casablancas' new label Cult Records, working with Spoon's Jim Eno as producer, and performing in his underwear. Tillmann also hints at a future side-project with longtime friends Patrick Carney (The Black Keys), Josh Tillman (Father John Misty), and Adam Green called Mumps.
Har Mar Superstar performs: Lady You Shot Me, Everywhere I'm Local, and Restless Leg.
