Patient fans of seminal alternative rockers My Bloody Valentine were finally rewarded earlier this year with mbv, the excellent follow-up to Loveless that was 22 years in the making (read our review). As if that weren’t enough, the band has announced a string of international shows. Though the American shows include a mere six stops, Colorado fans are in luck: the band will play the Ogden Theater in Denver on August 19. This will be the Dublin-based group’s first tour back in the States since 2009, which included a show at Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium.
