Duets have always had a certain musical appeal, typically bringing together two stars for an uncomfortable three minutes during which neither one knows exactly what they are doing.
Modern times have given new meaning to the standard duet however. First of all, you are submerged into an era where even the biggest stars can walk down the street unnoticed. Chances are you wouldn't think anything if you saw Brittany Howard and Ruby Amanfu having lunch, Adam Green and Binki Shapiro going through airport security, or Jay Farrar and Benjamin Gibbard on the tennis court.
But put them together, and there it's great music times two. Join me for Retrofit Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at noon. Double your pleasure, hear it twice! (P.S. Don't think twice, it's all right...)
To get you in the mood, some great duets from then and now!

And check out this classic 80s duet from Sir Paul and MJ!
