Goldrush Music Festival took place in Denver this last weekend across two Larimer Street venues, Larimer Lounge and Meadowlark.
In its fourth year, the festival once again offered a bill of local, national, and international music acts who defy genre, convention, and monotony.
Safely put, no two Goldrush acts are alike; with nearly 30 experimental acts assembled over a two-day weekend, any attendee undoubtedly experienced something entirely novel.
Highlights included a raucous and occasionally nonsensical set from Czech band DVA, a brief but militant rave-up from Guerilla Toss, a mellow debut of stripped-down new material from Mount Eerie, and energetic locals like Thug Entrancer and Fingers of the Sun.
