This week Seattle singer/songwriter Shaprece performed for the first time in Denver. Over the last year she's been working hard breaking out of her home city and currently she's been working the festival circuit.
She stopped by OpenAir en route from Austin playing the official South By Southwest showcase. Next stop: Treefort Music Festival in Boise, Idaho.
She talked with midday host Alisha Sweeney about expanding her brand outside of Seattle and how her music scene inspires her.
