2015 has proven to be a breakout year for the music project of Mackenzie Scott. The strength of the first few songs from her sophomore album "Sprinter" have critics and fans alike eager for the record's release this May.
"Sprinter" is a fine example of why the Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter deserves the advance praise. Scott is a vivid lyricist, fiery vocalist and incisive songwriter: all those qualities are on full display here.
