Fort Frances, ‘Anonymous’

April 6, 2015

Our Download of the Week is "Anonymous" by Fort Frances.

The Chicago-based indie band released the "No One Needs to Know Our Name" EP this year, with a full-length to follow in October. Frontman David McMillin describes the recording process as a coming-of-age of sorts:

We spent the fall holed up in a farmhouse in Maine with Sam Kassirer (Lake Street Dive, Josh Ritter) to work on a new record. Each member of the band had just said goodbye to our twenty-somethings. I had just gotten engaged. Jeff, our bass player, had just gotten married. Aaron, our drummer, was in the midst of a divorce.

"Anonymous" is the first single from the band's recent output. Download it for free via the link above!
