Denver outfit Red Fox Run made its CPR Performance Studio debut last month. The quartet performed four songs from its recent self-titled sophomore album which feature angular guitar riffs and emo-inspired vocals.

The band members told Alisha Sweeney how they benefited from working on their new album in a secluded mountain studio. ("Our creative power tripled.")

They also spoke about writing songs over email and the difficulties of lugging gear up into the mountains without a proper vehicle. ("It was the dumbest thing we've ever done.")

Songs performed:

  • "Didn't See You There"
  • "You Don't Know What You Want"
  • "Beautiful"
  • "Who We Are"
