BNQT: ‘Restart’

BNQT -- pronounced "banquet" -- is the musical union of five indie rock frontmen. The bands they represent -- Franz Ferninand, Grandaddy, Band Of Horse, Midlake and Travis -- are all active and spread throughout the world. So the collaboration began as a purely digital one with the quintet exchanging ideas via email.

The band eventually found time to get in a studio together as well. The result is BNQT's debut album "Vol. 1." The record opens with "Restart," a guitar riff-driven rocker akin to T. Rex or Tame Impala.
