Andrew joined Colorado Public Radio in 2019, bringing more than a decade of experience as a reporter and editor for various news outlets across the country. Before being named news director in 2022, he served as the arts and regions editor and morning editor for CPR News. Prior to CPR, he worked as a copy editor for Rewire. News and as an editor at Kaiser Health News and Side Effects Public Media. In these positions, Andrew maintained news lineups, managed deadlines for digital material and worked with reporters on crafting stories. Earlier in his career, he covered politics for the Greeley Tribune and edited for NBC’s Breaking News.
Andrew is a Denver native and a seventh-generation Coloradan. His connection to the state helps inform audiences with a hyper-local focus on the people, places and issues impacting Colorado.

Bachelor's degrees in journalism and English, University of Colorado Boulder.
