Colorado scientists sprung into action last April when a 7.8 magnitude earthquake rocked Nepal, killing thousands of people. Roger Bilham, a scientist who works at the University of Colorado's Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences, or CIRES, in Boulder was among the first there to study the aftermath. He and other Colorado scientists share their findings in a new NOVA documentary called, "Himalayan Megaquake."
It debuts tomorrow night on PBS. Chris Schmidt is a senior producer on this documentary and spoke to Colorado Matters host Nathan Heffel.
