Listen Now

Today 17 women serve in the state Senate. The first woman to blaze that trail was Helen Ring Robinson. She was elected in 1912 to represent Denver. Robinson was a crusader for women’s equality and the protection of children. Pat Pascoe has written her biography. Pascoe was a state senator herself, representing Denver for 12 years. She speaks with Ryan Warner.
