Indie 102.3 to Host “Indieverse” Music Festival

Indieverse will feature headliner OK Go along with Dehd, Dead Pioneers, Pink Fuzz and more to come.

Denver, May 8, 2025 – Indie 102.3, the home for independent music discovery from Colorado Public Radio, is proud to present “Indieverse” at Levitt Pavilion on September 13, 2025. This inaugural music festival will feature indie favorites, including OK Go, Dehd and local openers Dead Pioneers and Pink Fuzz – along with a special guest to be announced.

"Thousands of music lovers, gathered together in one place, all sharing the experience of live music together — that's a powerful kind of community, the stuff memories are made of," said Indie 102.3 Morning Show host Dana Meyers. “We’ve dreamed about doing something like this for years, and this year, it finally came together just the way we hoped.”

Headlining the event is the band OK Go, whose members have been professional collaborators for nearly 30 years, racking up billions of streams, topping radio charts, and collecting three MTV Video Music Awards and a Grammy. They’ve also earned accolades more unusual for a rock band: 21 Cannes Lions, 12 CLIOS, The Smithsonian Ingenuity Award and a spot in the permanent collection of MoMA. They’ve produced a number of seminal videos, famed for their inventive use of treadmills and dogs, slow motion and zero-gravity, Rube Goldberg machines, optical illusions and musical stunt driving.

Indie rockers Dehd will join the lineup fresh from a world tour of their latest album, “Poetry,” and an appearance at the Newport Folk Festival. The Guardian describes Dehd as “mercilessly catchy and meticulously camp,” infusing sounds of pop-punk, Americana, grunge and soul into the album.

Local acts Dead Pioneers and Pink Fuzz will open. Dead Pioneers are known for their clever, punk-inspired cultural commentary and toured with Pearl Jam earlier this spring. Pink Fuzz is self-described as “high speed desert rock.”

“We’re excited to have such an eclectic representation of indie, punk, rock and alternative music to kick off Indie 102.3’s entry into the music festival scene,” said Willobee Carlan, Indie 102.3’s program director. “We are thrilled to invite OK Go to headline ‘Indieverse.’ Their creativity, energy and daring have been influential for countless other indie artists.”

“Indieverse” will take place at Levitt Pavilion, the outdoor amphitheater located in Ruby Hill Park, from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Sept. 13. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 16.
