Jean comes to CPR from WETA in Washington D.C. where she was the weekend morning classical host for the last 20 years. Jean was the the original and only associate music producer for Performance Today when it started in 1986 as a syndicated NPR program. There, she hosted and managed music continuity and assisted in production of this two-hour daily radio show featuring concerts captured live from around the world. Prior to that, Jean hosted and produced for WCAL in Northfield, MN and helped launch classical station WFAE in Charlotte, NC. Jean is also an accomplished violinist, having played for (among other orchestras) the Maryland Symphony for almost 25 years.

We are thrilled that she's agreed to uproot from her East Coast home to bring her deep passion and knowledge of classical music to Colorado. It's matched only by her enthusiasm to share it on CPR Classical. Welcome, Jean!
