Think classical music sounds best in a hallowed concert hall with plush seats and pristine acoustics?

Meet the Multi-Story Orchestra, an ensemble that gives summer performances on the seventh floor of a parking garage in south London.

Founded in 2011, the group’s previous car park concerts included pieces by Brahms and Shostakovich, Sinfini Music reports.

Watch the ensemble prepare a new piece by composer and Multi-Story Artistic Director Kate Whitley and poet Holly McNish, with help from a local youth orchestra and children’s choir. (The musicians also performed Symphony No. 5 by Jean Sibelius after debuting the new work on June 20.)
