Monday

We'll celebrate Christmas in the CPR Performance Studio. We'll hear seasonal music from the Denver Early Music Consort, St. Martin's Chamber Choir, Ars Nova Singers, harpist Emily Levin and the Cadmus Ensemble.

Tuesday

Christmas Eve. No show.

Wednesday

Christmas. No show.

Thursday

Music from the opening concert in the Colorado Symphony's Masterworks series this season, featuring Conductor Andrew Litton and Saxophonist Branford Marsalis. We'll hear Alexander Borodin's Overture to Prince Igor, Alexander Glazunov's Saxophone Concerto in E-flat major and John Williams' Escapades from "Catch Me If You Can" for Saxophone and Orchestra.

Friday

We'll hear a performance by the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields Chamber Ensemble recorded Nov. 5 at Gates Concert Hall in the Newman Center at the University of Denver. The progarm features Felix Mendelssohn's Octet in E flat major.

SUNDAY

An archived Friends of Chamber Music recital by Pianist Emanuel Ax, who will be performing again in Denver at a sold-out recital on Jan. 5. We'll hear Claude Debussy's "Images," sets I and II, music from Rameau's "Pièces de Clavecin" and Ravel's "Noble and Sentimental Waltzes." And we'll hear an encore Colorado Symphony performance from Thursday's show.
