Holocaust-Themed Portraits and Photos at Denver's Singer Gallery
Twin exhibitions at the Singer Gallery at the Mizel Arts and Culture Center feature Holocaust victims. Local artist Deborah Howard drew 25 peoplefor Persist and Endure: Portraits of Child Holocaust Survivors. The second exhibit is called Lodz Ghetto Album: Clandestine Photographs of Jewish Life. The photos were taken during the Nazi occupation of Poland.
