Settling of West Kicked Up Loadsof Dust
In the late 19th century American West, grazing animals, farming, mining and other development stirred up nearly seven times more dust than before. Ryan Warner speaks with University of Colorado at Boulder Geology professor Jason Neff, who published his findings recently in the magazine Nature Geoscience.
