Aspens Community Television Station Celebrates 35 Years

Grassroots TV in Aspen is now 35 years old. It was one of the first community television stations in the country. In the early days, Grassroots broadcasted everything from Hunter S. Thompson reading from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas while Jimmy Buffet sang “Margaritaville,” to a community-produced soap opera. Ryan Warner talks to executive director John Masters.
