Drilling Threatens Colorado Wildflower

A rare plant that grows only in the adobe hills near DeBeque in western Colorado may not survive the newly thriving oil and gas industry taking place there. The Center for Native Ecosystems has filed a petition asking the federal government to list the plant as endangered. Josh Peterson is the policy director for the center.
