New Law Targets Suicides Among College Students

Colorado's suicide rate is among the highest in the nation. New legislation aims to reduce the number college student suicides by encouraging them to waive their privacy rights so their parents would be notified if they appear at risk. Ryan Warner speaks with Dick McKee, whose personal experience with his son's suicide led him to push for the legislation, and Terri Lucero Osborne, director of counseling services at the University of Denver, who opposes the legislation.
