Remembering Gay Activist and Rodeo Organizer Wayne Jakino

Denver resident Wayne Jakino started the Colorado Gay Rodeo Association in the 1980s. He was also a gay rights activist and owned Charlie's Denver — a gay country and western bar. Jakino died last month of pancreatic cancer. Ryan Warner speaks with John Nelms – the general manager of Charlie's and one of Jakino's longtime friends.
