A life-size model of a spacecraft sits in an airport hangar south of Denver. One day it could replace the space shuttle, which retires next year. The new project has financial backing from NASA. It's called the Dream Chaser. Mark Sirangelo of Sierra Nevada Space Systems, in Louisville, is leading the effort to get Dream Chaser off the ground.
