British writer/director Mike Leigh's new movie "Another Year" just picked up an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay, to go with a slew of other awards for nearly every actor in the cast. Leigh is a famously morose filmmaker, but Colorado Public Radio film critic Howie Movshovitz says that while Leigh shows of misery, he always honors the characters who have to go through it.
