The Swayback visits OpenAir

· Mar. 2, 2012, 12:50 am

The Swayback began recording material for a new album more than three years ago. It started with a trip to L.A. to record with renowned producer Andy Johns, who has worked with bands like the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Television. The results of those sessions, along with some fresher songs, make up the Swayback's long-awaited new record, Double Four Time. The Denver rockers offered an exclusive introduction to the album when they stopped by OpenAir to perform a few songs and tell Corey about the release. Turns out local artist Noah Van Sciver illustrated the cover. To celebrate, the local lads performed at Denver's Twist & Shout record store on March 1st. They'll headline at the Hi-Dive  March 3rd.

Listen to the interview and hear the songs "What Death Cares About", "Double Four Time" and "Oh Baby" below.
