OpenAir’s download of the week is Comrade, the new single from Volcano Choir’s upcoming release, Repave
Due out on September 3rd, Repave is the atmospheric band’s sophomore release and is the second side project release this year for Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon. It’s been 4 years since their last album, and while their debut had a markedly abstract, and spacy sound, it’s follow up has a much clearer shape, with distinct lyrics and grounded melodies that occasionally drift into space.
