Denver Ups Its Cultural Ante

Denver is creating a new plan to put Colorado front and center on the nation’s cultural map. The last time the city tried to revamp its arts and culture scene on this scale was back in 1989. Other cities--from London to Minneapolis-- have launched similar efforts.  CPR Arts Editor Chloe Veltman spoke with Kent Rice, executive director of Denver Arts & Venues, about the city’s strategy for cultural success.
