One of the musician's at this year's Denver Music Summit is Laura Burhenn. You know her as the front woman of The Mynabirds, and she has also been a touring member of Bright Eyes and The Postal Service. She performs at the songwriter's panel Sunday at the McNichols Building from 3-6p.
Morning show host Alisha Sweeney talked with Laura about what a transformative year 2013 has been for her career and how it has inspired her songwriting. She shares stories of how she was invited to be in The Postal Service, offers advice to musicians trying to figure out how to make music full-time, and why being on a label is important to her!
