Check out our New Year's Eve schedule below, and once again, thanks for spending 2013 with OpenAir 1340. See you in 2014!

  • New Year's Revolution
    • 5 p.m. & 11 p.m., Tuesday, December 31

This December the 31st, tune in for Mike Flanagan's New Year's Revolution, an hour-long musical expedition of the very best New Year's tunes, at 5 p.m. and again at 11 p.m. It's the perfect New Year's mixtape, complete with rarities, standards, surprises, blatant nostalgia, sincere resolutions, unashamed hope, and serious parties. You'll hear tracks ranging from Bing Crosby to the Beach Boys to Death Cab for Cutie, all in the spirit of everybody's favorite midnight party.

  • Retrofit: Bye Bye 2013
    • 4 p.m. & 10 p.m., Tuesday, December 31

Additionally, we'll re-air Retrofit's recap of the musicians we lost in 2013, ranging from Lou Reed to George Jones to Jason Molina, at 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. As we say goodbye to these and many others who defined the music that makes the world go round, we take comfort in knowing the music never dies. Check out Mike's comprehensive list of those we said farewell to in 2013 here, and tune in on New Year's Eve to hear Mike's musical tribute.
