A typical night of storytelling from The Narrators at Deer Pile.
The segment is produced by Denver comedians Andrew Orvedahl and Robert Rutherford. Orvedahl and Rutherford host a monthly storytelling series, The Narrators, at 8 p.m. every third Thursday at Deer Pile art space, above City O' City restaurant at 206 E. 13th Ave in Denver.
In this debut episode of The Narrators: Second Listen, Orvedahl and Rutherford explore the subjective nature of real-life storytelling. The duo dissects a narrative by comedian Nancy Norton and glean further insights from members of their live audience at Deer Pile. You can also catch this segment on air as part of CPR's arts show on Friday, March 28 at 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Andrew Orvedahl is a stand-up comedian, actor and writer based in Denver, Colo.
