Avi Buffalo at OpenAir
(Photo: CPR / Irvin Coffee) Avi Buffalo's sophomore album "At Best Cuckold" has been a regular entry on our Top 30 chart since its release last September. We were quite pleased to welcome the California group into our CPR Performance Studio this week.
Singer-songwriter Avi Zahner-Isenberg and pianist Anthony Vezirian performed a number of stripped-down songs from the record prior to a headlining show at Denver's Larimer Lounge. They also spoke with Keefer Fulgham about the band's evolution since their last album, the influence of an unreleased Neil Young album and how their unique recording schedule.
