Chella & the Charm

Chella & the Charm returned to the OpenAir studio prior to their CD release show at Hi-Dive on Friday, Dec. 12.

Fronted by vocalist and guitarist Chella Negro, the Denver-based country-rock group has been working on new material since their last visit in April of 2013.

In addition to playing some new songs for us, Negro spoke with Alisha Sweeney about working on the new self-titled record at Denver's House In Motion Studios, moving to Colorado from Wisconsin and making the switch from jam bands to Americana.

Their release show on Dec. 12 will also feature Colorado artists Bonnie & the Beard and Ancient Elk. See the Hi-Dive website for more details.

Stream the session above.
