Christo’s Arkansas River project faces yet another legal challenge

The organization that has promised an endless legal battle against the artist Christo, over his planned installation in the Arkansas River Valley, has entered a fresh court challenge in the case. Rags Over the Arkansas River filed a motion today in the Colorado Court of Appeals asking the Court to rehear its appeal.

That appeal was rejected earlier this month when the court voted unanimously to uphold the Colorado Division of Parks approval of the project. In its ruling, the court noted the division did not follow its permit regulations in granting approval. But the ruling states that ROAR failed to show prejudice that resulted from how the project was approved.
