Tourists looking to take a historic trip to the old mining town of Silverton are out of luck as the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad has canceled service after falling rock broke the rail.

The Durango Herald reports that service was suspended Thursday for an undetermined period of time, but there is a chance it could be renewed by Saturday. The train only reopened for the season last week.
