Colorado State University has been cutting back on seats with chair backs, elevators and other amenities in order to keep plans for a new on-campus stadium within its $220 million budget.

The Fort Collins Coloradoan reports that documents show eliminating more than 4,000 seats with backs in grandstands will save the school an estimated $472,000. Officials also dropped two of six planned elevators to serve club seating areas in order to help pay for a $1.19 million field-level club seating area.
