The Mynabirds, ‘Wildfire’

The Mynabirds will return with their third album, "Lovers Know," out Aug. 7 via the Saddle Creek label based in the band's hometown of Omaha, Neb.

The band is the project of singer-songwriter Laura Burhenn, who recently sang backup for The Postal Service on their live reunion shows. Burhenn's layered vocals and soulful piano propel the new single "Wildfire," which was influenced by the writing of Jack Kerouac.
