Michelle Stewart got two pieces of bad news last year: Her kidneys were failing, and the average wait time for a donation in Colorado was five to six years.

Knowing she couldn't survive that long, she and her husband Bob Stewart turned his truck into a mobile advertisement with her blood and tissue type.

Now, the Denver Post reports that Stewart has a kidney, but not thanks to the truck. Denver 22-year-old Mason Holland met the couple at an event raising awareness for Michelle's kidney donation in January. He wanted to help. And sure enough, he was a match.

The surgery went as planned at the end of last June.

Bob has since changed the sign on his truck from "wife needs kidney" to "wife got kidney."
