Oil and gas activity is set to increase in northern Colorado as Anadarko Petroleum develops its drilling program in Fort Lupton as part of a much larger project in Weld County.
The Greeley Tribune reports Fort Lupton officials and energy industry advocates on Tuesday celebrated Anadarko, one of the top two oil and gas companies in Weld County, and its plan to begin horizontal drilling in Fort Lupton.
