OpenAir begins broadcasting at 88.3 FM in Fort Collins today, bringing new music to listeners in Northern Colorado.

To celebrate, here's footage of seven Fort Collins artists playing in the CPR Performance Studio.

Enjoy the videos and keep it in the OpenAir at 88.3 FM in Fort Collins, 102.3 FM in Denver in Boulder and online at www.openaircpr.org.

SHEL

Sarah, Hannah, Eva and Liza Holbrook were all born within five years of each other, and have played music together since their adolescence. So it's no surprise the folk-influenced music they create together as SHEL has a high level of professionalism and harmony.

Slow Caves

Brothers Jakob and Oliver Mueller share vocal duties for this synth-rock outfit. Though they now call Fort Collins home, they hail from Denmark originally.

Mosey West

The self-described "sonic folk" of this trio is best captured on the recent "Bermuda" EP.

Post Paradise

Post Paradise have made multiple appearances at the UMS in Denver along with the Colorado Music Party at SXSW in Austin, Texas. The band blends alternative-indie rock and classical influences, with Amy Morgan's cello work at the forefront.

Fierce Bad Rabbit

There's a healthy amount of pop influence in the rock of Fierce Bad Rabbit. NPR Music selected them as one of the top 100 new bands to check out at SXSW 2013.

Wire Faces

Products of Fort Collins' SpokesBUZZ artist development program, this trio is in good company on the Denver-based Hot Congress label along with notable acts like Shady Elders and The Outfit. The band plays driving, melodic post-punk.

You Me & Apollo

This roots-rock group called it quits last year following the release of the album "Sweet Honey." Former frontman Brent Cowles has since ventured on as a solo artist and recently signed to Denver label Greater Than Collective for his forthcoming EP.
